Dumbwaiter Commercial & Residential

CITI Elevator’s Dumbwaiter is designed to provide a cost effective, space saving, convenient & safe way to move materials from one level to another.  Our Dumbwaiters are dependable, tough and efficient small Freight Elevators that carry objects between floors.  Dumbwaiter manufactures have two different classifications of dumbwaiters:

Commercial Dumbwaiters:

Our Dumbwaiter System conforms to Canadian & American elevator code (ASME  A17.1/CSA B-44) requirements;  big cities like  Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, and Calgary use these types of Freight lifts when commercial space is available at a premium.

Residential Dumbwaiters:

This type of home dumb waiter can be used to transport groceries from the garage to the kitchen, laundry from the upper-level rooms to the basement or firewood from the basement to all upper levels of your home. Our Dumbwaiter Lift units are available in a multitude of features and options to suit your project needs.

Our commercial Dumbwaiters are available in two different models:

  1. DW-H is installed in a hoist way shaft and constructed by a general contractor. The hoist way can be constructed from block, concrete or other building materials.
  2. DW-FS – This unit comes with its own hoist way. The hoist way is made of steel, eliminating the need for costly civil construction.
